I have just signed a contract to publish my first illustrated children’s book, with the release scheduled for later this year. My illustrator, Chelsa, and I are so excited.
During my travels around the world, I witnessed both the beauty of wildlife and the urgent need to protect it. But when I visited the Okavango Delta in Botswana in 2023, I discovered something more — I met Dima.
Dima’s life story inspired this book called:
THIS BOY WILL DO GREAT THINGS. At first, it may seem unlikely that I, from a remote farm in Nebraska, U.S.A., and Dima, from a small village in Botswana, Africa, would share such a deep connection. Yet our stories are joined by something powerful: the courage to follow our dreams.
