(Hot air balloon sunrise tour over the Nile)
I am tardy in posting this blog about one of the most amazing trips that I took in 2022. I wrote a detailed narrative with photos and YouTube videos for friends and family about a year ago. Instead of rewriting it for my web followers, I will send that version. My numerous, magnificent experiences were too difficult to shorten and dilute. Click on the download button and a Word Document will appear with narratives, photos, and YouTube links. If the links don’t open, cut and paste them into your browser. I hope you enjoy it. All are SAFE to open.

Hi Sue,
Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos and impressions of your visits to Jordan and Egypt. I had a Foreign Service tour in Amman (1987-90) and visited Petra many times. I also visited Egypt often but did not experience the Nile by hot air balloon. If you get a chance to visit Egypt again I highly recommend going to the Sinai and experience climbing Mt. Moses by Camel after midnight and catching the sunrise.
Best.

Hello Bill, you have been to so many places on this Earth. We are fortunate to have seen all these magnificent places. Thank God for photos. It seemed like the trip went by so quickly and there was so much I experienced that I barely absorbed it, but the photos have etched these moments into my mind forever. What was most amazing was watching the transition from northern Egypt to Southern Egypt as we went deeper into Africa on the Nile. I could see the culture change, the people change. It was fascinating. I loved the camel market. It brought me right back home to Nebraska.
All the best, Gowee Sue
